《Stone Spinning Wheel》

This stone spinning wheel is the heritage of the fourth phase of the Dadiwan Culture. That is about 5,500 years ago. It's 5.5cm in diameter and 0.8cm in thickness. It is made of darkstone. The whole wheel has been carefully polished. The spinning tool consists of a spinning wheel and a twisting rod. In the first phase of the Dadiwan culture around 7,800 years ago, pottery spinning wheel was made and used. The people at that time made spinning wheels by forging huge but relatively flat and smooth pieces of pottery into large frames, then polishing the edges and making a hole in the middle.
