《Qingbai Bronze Mirror》

This mirror of the Western Han Dynasty is 16cm in diameter. It is decorated with arc-design grain. On the back of the mirror there is a belt of the inscription showing the infatuation of a woman for her husband. The rim of the mirror is plain and narrow.

The bronze mirror is generally well-preserved with partial rust. Its back is beautifully decorated and the inscription is clear. This arc-design-grain mirror originated in the Spring and Autumn period, and flourished in the Warring States and Han Dynasty. As one of the new types of bronze mirrors in the Han Dynasty, this mirror is named Qingbai mirror according to the inscription on it, which means "clear and clean".
